Oxford, Ohio’s annual Hike-a-Thon Plus is back in town for another weekend of outdoor fun! The Hike-a-Thon Plus 2017 is part of the Great Outdoor Weekend, an effort to get people in the greater Cincinnati area outside and active.
This year’s Hike-a-Thon will take place on Saturday, September 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
The organization’s goal is to collectively hike 2,000 miles to benefit 4 Paws for Ability. You can participate by hiking in either the 1, 3, or 5 mile hike options.
In addition to 4 Paws for Ability, check out over 20 more partners of the Hike-a-Thon at their tents lined up at the start of the hiking trail. Among all the tents, learn more about anything from birds and plants to health and wellness. T-shirts and snacks will be available for purchase.
Be sure to bring the whole family and stop the little ones by the Pioneer House for kid-friendly crafts and games. This is an event you won't want to miss, so wear your comfiest walking shoes and bring friends, family and of course, leashed dogs are welcome too.
