Chocolate Meltdown 2017

Cookies and cocoa and cupcakes, oh my! The Chocolate Meltdown is right around the corner and you know what that means: something sweet for the whole family!

On January 14th, 2017, between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m, you and your loved ones can stroll through the Oxford Community Arts Center and enjoy hours of chocolate delicacies from a variety of vendors, all available for both sampling and purchasing. And this event isn’t just a treat for the tummy, it’s also a treat for the eyes thanks to Bittersweet: A Chocolate Inspired Exhibition. That’s right, there will also be an exhibit of art inspired by chocolate! What could be sweeter?

As if all that weren’t enough, there will also be educational displays about the history of chocolate worldwide, children’s crafts and activities, a bake-off with cash prizes, and a raffle for goodie-filled baskets.

Tickets are only $10 at the door, and even cheaper at $7 pre-sale. Each event ticket comes with 5 tasting coupons which you'll receive when you hand in your ticket at the door. Oh and your little ones, age 12 and under? They get in free.

If you just can't get enough chocolate (and we don't blame you) you'll be able to purchase additional tasting coupons, either individually for $1 or 6 coupons for $5.

The sweetest part of this event? All the money raised at the Chocolate Meltdown will benefit both the Arts Center and the Miami University Art Museum!

See you there!
