2017 Maple Syrup Festival

Celebrate 51 years of Ohio maple syrup at this year’s 51st annual Maple Syrup Festival at Hueston Woods State Park. The festival will take place on two separate weekends; March 4 and 5, as well as March 11 and 12, 2017.

Begin your day with a delicious all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in the Trailblazer Dining Room inside Hueston Woods Lodge from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. Of course, the breakfast will feature delicious local maple syrup!

From noon until 4 p.m., enjoy a maple syrup tour around the park. Begin with a hayride at the Pioneer Farm on Brown road, followed by a hike through the “Big Woods”. During your tour, learn about the art of maple syrup production and history of the area. From 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., visit the Nature Center to tour the exhibits featuring reptiles, birds of prey, and a giant human sized eagle's nest for photo ops.

Food, beverages, and maple syrup will be on sale throughout the day.
