Where to Buy Reusable Masks in Oxford

An led street sign that says "Masks Required."

We're now one year into the COVID-19 pandemic, but with improved statistics and vaccines becoming more widely available we're starting to see a light at the end of this long tunnel. But (sorry, there's always a "but") there's still a mandatory mask ordinance in Oxford, for both your safety and the safey of others.

So while we know you may be itching to snatch that mask off once and for all, it's important we all continue wearing them in addition to socially-distancing and diligently washing our hands.

The good news is that our locally-owned businesses in Oxford sell a variety of reusable masks so you can continue staying safe while supporting local and cutting back on disposal mask litter all at the same time.

Oh, and you'll look stylish, too. Talk about a win-win-win-win situation.

Masks hanging on a rack at Wildberry.Wild Berry

15 W. High St.

The Wild Berry store uptown continues to be known and loved for their incense and fun, colorful selection of unique items.

Now, they can add reusable face masks to the list of reasons to stop in.

These masks can be found on a tall rack near the checkout counter. You'll have a lot to choose from, but my favorites were the reversable ones at the top of the rack. Not only does it feel like you're getting two masks in one, they were also were made by a local artist (The Shoker Family) so you're supporting local twice!

Masks on display at Apple Tree. The Apple Tree

28 E. High St.

The Apple Tree has jewelry, clothes, home decor, and a gorgeous storefront window that is decorated seasonally.

One of the newest additions to their inventory are reusable face masks that come in a variety of colors and designs.

Locate the wooden box on the checkout counter and find what style best fits your mood.

Cheetah print masks on display at Leeli Lou.Leeli & Lou

24 E. High St.

Leeli & Lou describe themselves as a "bubbly glass of style" and I have to agree, evident by how I got distracted by some crop tops while I was there taking photos for this article.

Their selection of masks may be small but it be mighty, with really soft fabric and a fun animal print.

Go get yours while they're still in stock!

Baggu fabric masks at Leeli Lou.Walker's Footwear & Apparel

1 W. High St.

Walker's is the go-to store for all your footwear and outdoorsy needs. I'm talking water bottles, jackets, backpacks, you name it.

Some of their reusable face masks are from BAGGU and have straps that you can tie comfortably behind your head (instead of the strings that go behind your ears, which some people find irritating).

These masks are also double-layered and include an interior pouch for you to put a filter (not included).

Miami Univeristy branded masks on display at DuBois bookstore.DuBois Book Store

118 E. High St.

The DuBois Book Store has you covered for all Miami-related merch. Clothes, mugs, blankets, coasters, the list goes on forever.

Now you can also show your Miami pride with a Beveled-M face covering. Walk in the front doors and look to your left to see your options in classic Miami colors and a few different styles (including neck gaiters that will help keep you warm during these last cold weeks of winter).
