5 Places for Fall Flavors in Oxford

It's fall, so bring on the pumpkin-flavored everything. Oh and the apple-flavored everything. And then mix those things with some spices and some chocolate and you've got a friend in me forever.

Oxford has a ton of places to explore for yummy fall flavors. And while we love uptown (of course we do! we work up here!) the places in this list are going to get you off the red brick streets and around town where there are more treasured, locally-owned businesses just ready to make your season extra fall-some.

Butterfields Farm Market

Where: 4000 Oxford Trenton Road
Open: Every day 9:30 AM - 6 PM

We've mentioned Butterfields Farm Market recently because of their corn maze and hay ride, both of which you should definitely check out. But did you know they're also the perfect place to find fall flavors that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth?

In addition to pumpkin cookies and brownies, they also have caramel apples and apple cider slushies. They have regular apple cider, too, but you should probably just get both because it's not every day one of your favorite fall drinks comes in fun, slushy form. I want one right now, actually.

Spring Street Treats

Where: 321 W. Spring St.
Open: Every day 2 - 10 PM

Mark your calendars because beginning October 18, your favorite soft serve place in town will be serving both pumpkin and apple cider soft serve. I expected the pumpkin flavor because it's something I look forward to every year but the apple cider flavor was a pleasant surprise!

Oct. 18 is a Friday this year and what better way to end a long week than by stopping by Spring Street and trying their fall flavors? Oh and pro-tip: Spring Street Treats gives out complimentary cups of coffee, and you can ask them to put a scoop of soft serve in it. So, hot coffee with some pumpkin or apple cider soft serve melted into it? Yes, please.

Oxford Coffee Company

Where: 21 Lynn St.
Open: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5 PM | Saturday - Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM

In addition to its warm and welcoming environment, Oxford Coffee Company is a town favorite because they buy and roast the finest possible coffee beans for a super fresh and delicious taste every day.

And now that it's fall, the Oxford Coffee Company has a few extra tasty tricks up its sleeve. For instance, their seasonal Spooky Brew coffee is a best seller, as well as their chai cider. And grab a piece of their pumpkin pound cake if you're looking for a dessert to accompany your drink.

They also can, of course, make you the classic PSL. That stands for pumpkin spice latte, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Oxford Doughnut Shoppe

Where: 120 S. Locust St.
Open: Wed - Sunday 6 AM - noon.

After getting your Spooky Brew at the Oxford Coffee Company, take a two-minute walk to the Oxford Doughnut Shoppe. Their donuts are made fresh every day and it's an understatement to say that they're pretty darn popular. The earlier you get there, the better.

For fall they have a glazed pumpkin donut (pictured to the right) that looks so good I feel unlucky to not have one in front of me at this very moment. If pumpkin's not quite your thing, the Doughnut Shoppe has a ton of other delicious flavors, including a a maple frosted donut which feels like a fall flavor but has the benefit of being available all year!

Moon Co-op

Where: 512 S. Locust St., #2129
Open: Monday - Saturday 9 AM - 8 PM | Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM

Consider Oxford's fresh food market and store your one-stop-shop for all things pumpkin this fall. Just some of their yummy autumnal eats include:

Chubby Bunny brand pumpkin bars, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, chocolate pumpkin swirl brownies, and two-to-a-pack pumpkin cookies. Additionally, the Co-op has pie pumpkins (those little pumpkins perfect for decor or, you know, making a pie), both roasted and raw pumpkin seeds, pumpkin curry hummus, roasted pumpkin butter, and canned pumpkin perfect for baking and smoothies.

What did we tell ya? You want it, Moon Co-op probably has it. Head over there and get some pumpkins, make a pie, and then bring a slice or two to the Enjoy Oxford office. ;)

Of course, this list isn't exhaustive. There are so many amazing places for delicious food here in Oxford. Check out our dining page for more options.
