Get ready for the 6th season of Red Brick Fridays, an outdoor experience on the infamous red brick streets of Uptown, Oxford, OH, and all that it offers!

When and Where?

Red Brick Friday is scheduled for three dates this summer, July 18th, August 1st, and August 29th, 2025 from 6:00-10:00 pm at Uptown Parks on the corner of Main & High Street.

July 18th – Beach Staycation: Pirate Invasion (Main Street Closed)

Enjoy live music by the Parrots of the Caribbean (Facebook), a Jimmy Buffet tribute band set to play at the Oxford Memorial Park pavilion from 6-10 pm. Bring the kids up to have fun on a tropical water slide and slip n’ slide! Walking around Uptown you won’t be able to miss PIRATE STILT WALKERS, costumed characters, and balloon artists. Try some themed food vendors, local treats, and DORA-friendly tropical drinks to cool off in the heat. TIP: Dress to the theme in your favorite island wear!

August 1st – Books on the Bricks: Once Upon a Time (Main Street Closed)

Ever wanted to get your face painted by the fairy godmother? Watch a magic show by the famous Merlin the Magician?! Let’s do both in one place! Join us for the Red Brick Friday “Books on the Bricks” where enchanting wizards, witches, elves, fairies, princesses, and dragons can enjoy a fairytale night Uptown! Visit the bouncy castle, find your way through a medieval maze, watch costumed storybook performers, and try some tasty themed treats.

August 29th – Streets & Eats (High & Main Street Closed)

For the final Red Brick Friday event, Oxford throws a welcome back party where townies and students come together to take over the bricks up and down the historic Main and High streets. Ride the zip-line, dine with local food trucks, and stop by campus and community booths to enjoy the final days of summer as we prepare to start the school year!
