2026 Talawanda High School Homecoming Weekend

Talawanda High School’s 2026 homecoming celebration will bring students, families, alumni and the Oxford community together for three days of festivities. Homecoming weekend begins with the community parade on Thursday, Sept. 17, continues with the football game on Friday, Sept. 18, and concludes with the homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Homecoming Parade
The homecoming parade begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Fryman Lot on Bonham Road at Miami University. The Talawanda High School marching band will meet and stage at Bishop Street, joining the rest of the parade when they arrive.
From the Fryman Lot, the parade will travel west on Bonham Road then turn left onto Tallawanda Road. The procession will then turn right onto High Street, meeting up with the marching band at Bishop Street before continuing toward town. After passing through Uptown, the parade will turn right onto College Avenue and return to the Fryman Lot by way of Sycamore Street and Bonham Road.

Homecoming Football Game
The homecoming football game will take place Friday, Sept. 18. Tickets are required for admission. Visit the Talawanda High School homecoming page for event ticketing information.

Homecoming Dance
Talawanda High School will host the homecoming dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the high school. This year’s theme is Brave the Tropics!
Tickets cost $15 each and go on sale Sept. 1. Students and families can find purchasing instructions and guest requirements on Talawanda High School’s homecoming page.
