Get ready for the 6th season of Red Brick Fridays, an outdoor experience on the infamous red brick streets of Uptown, Oxford, OH, and all that it offers!
When and Where?
Red Brick Friday is scheduled for three dates this summer, July 17th, August 7th, and August 28th, 2025 from 6:00-10:00 pm at Uptown Parks on the corner of Main & High Street.
July 17th – Beach Staycation: Cancelled
Due to poor air quality and chance of thunderstorms, this event has been cancelled.
A tropical evening featuring live music, beach-themed inflatables, activities, food, and island fun. Enjoy live music by the Red Brick Beach Bums Facebook, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band set to play at the Oxford Memorial Park pavilion from 7-9:30 pm. Bring the kids up to have fun on a tropical water slide and a Tsunami slip n’ slide! Try some themed food vendors, local treats, and DORA-friendly tropical drinks to cool off in the heat. TIP: Dress to the theme in your favorite island wear!
August 7th – Books on the Bricks: Comic Book Bash (Main Street Closed)
A celebration of books, imagination, and community featuring local authors, a used book sale, inflatables, live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
August 28th – Streets & Eats (High & Main Street Closed)
Our largest Red Brick Friday of the year! High Street will be closed to traffic as Uptown comes alive with food, music, activities, community organizations, Miami student organizations, shopping, and a special celebration in honor of America’s 250th. Co-hosted with Miami University Activities & Planning, Oxford throws a welcome back party where townies and students come together to take over the bricks up and down the historic Main and High streets. Ride the zip-line, dine with local food trucks, and stop by campus and community booths to enjoy the final days of summer as we prepare to start the school year!
