EarthFest

Scenic view of the Oxford Area Trails with a bird flying over

Oxford’s EarthFest is put on each year, thanks to the Miami Environmental Professionals Association. Oxford prides itself as a tree city in part of the Arbor Day Foundation’s mission to help expand the tree population and green spaces. While at EarthFest, you will find vendors, organizations, live music, and more to celebrate Earth Day! Maybe even a free sapling!

Grab your friends, family, and neighbors to come together for environmentally friendly-entertainment at EarthFest! Get started early on the fun and browse the Oxford Farmer’s Market from 9am-noon. Afterward, walk over to the Oxford Memorial Park (next door) to engage with EarthFest organizations and vendors.

EarthFest activities are designed to teach attendees about the inner workings of our natural environments, and how we can adopt sustainable practices in our daily lives. While you’re here, you may find some of our local businesses in Oxford that highlight their work towards sustainability.

With over 15 student groups and Oxford organizations participating, there’s something for everyone at EarthFest. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations and interactive learning experiences, this festival creates a welcoming atmosphere for all ages to enjoy.

Some of the EarthFest passionate groups will include the Environmental Professionals Association, EcoReps, GreenHawks Media, and more. Join us for a day of celebration and education to promote environmentally-friendly practices. Together, we can make a difference and create a greener world for all. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn and connect.

After EarthFest, stay for Creativity City Uptown until 6pm! Join a celebration of creativity and innovation. There will be live celebrations of creative talent, games and activities that cultivate ideas and outcomes for change.
