Friday, January 9, 2026 (All Day)
Grab your friends and family to visit each participating Oxford business for tasty treats and more to complete the Chocolate Crawl. Pick up a passport at any of the participating businesses in the 2026 Chocolate Crawl, plan your route, and collect stickers to mark your completed stop for a chance to win a prize! *purchase not required but appreciated
THE PRIZE? Be the first to turn in a full passport at Chocolate Meltdown to the Main Office of the Oxford Community Arts Center & receive SIX FREE tasting tickets at Chocolate Meltdown, plus a FREE hoodie! The next four people to submit a full passport will win a FREE Chocolate Crawl hoodie.

Chocolate Meltdown
Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1:00-5:00 pm
The Oxford Community Arts Center will transform into a chocolate lover’s dream! Enjoy all things fun and chocolatey indoors and *outdoors on College Avenue in Uptown, Oxford, Ohio.
Begin the meltdown with tasting tickets to sample the confections offered by talented bakers and artisans that are almost too fancy to eat (but who’s kidding, right?). Like chocolate, this event is for all ages! There will be plenty of experiences for kids too, play together in a Giant Candy Land, watch a magician, face painting, and so much more to melt the winter blues! Whatever meltdown path you choose, check out this year’s “Sweet Dreams ” art exhibit submitted by community members of all ages to celebrate the fun!
….Oh! In the back of the ballroom, you’ll find two adult chocolate bars provided by Oxford Spirits Liquor Store. Use tasting tickets to sample dessert beer and liquors!
Admission
Admission to Chocolate Meltdown is FREE! Purchase tasting tickets onsite in quantities of 6, 12, or 24 to sample both chocolate tastings AND the Chocolate Bar (ID Required). Additional tasting tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5, 12 for $10, and 24 for $20.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum at Miami University & the Oxford Community Arts Center.
Prepare for a delightful chocolate experience while supporting local artists and businesses at this year’s Chocolate Meltdown. This day is dedicated entirely to chocolate!
CALL FOR ART: Artful Indulgence (all ages)
We invite artists in the tri-state area to exhibit their work for the upcoming exhibition, titled “Artful Indulgence“. Artworks can be directly inspired by the sensory world of chocolate – its dark, rich colors, its velvety textures, its powerful role in celebration and comfort. Beyond the treat, you can explore the exquisite excess of beauty and the sensory feast of a perfect moment. Why not interpret or challenge this theme through dreams, escapism, or opulence that can be evoked within a creative work?
