Hike-A-Thon

Hike-A-Thon in Oxford, Ohio signals an official goodbye to summer and an enthusiastic hello to autumn while celebrating the progress of Oxford Area Trails and Miami University Natural Area Trails! This event is fun for all ages, pet-friendly (don’t forget a leash!), and wheelchair accessible. Pick up your route map at the information booth to choose routes from 1 mile, 3 miles, or 5 miles. If you’re feeling a challenge, take an optional unpaved route for nature trail hiking. No matter the path you choose, bask in the sounds and sights of nature with friends and family while exploring the many trails surrounding Oxford.

“The log house of Zachariah Price DeWitt is now the oldest remaining structure in Oxford Township. It also is the last of a string of pioneer homesteads established along the Four-Mile Creek before Oxford Township, the town of Oxford, or Miami University even existed.” (Oxford Museum Association)
